Get Troup Reading recently participated in the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading ‘Communication Expo’ a meeting which was designed to highlight and honor recent communication tools created by CGLR communities. As part of this gathering of organizations like ours from around the country, Get Troup Reading was named a “Bright Spot” in communication! This award highlights the tireless work by our team, and inspires us to work even harder in pursuit of getting all students in Troup County reading at grade-level or higher.

Campaign for Grade-Level Reading (CGLR) is seeks to disrupt generational poverty and ensure more hopeful futures for children of low-income families. They mobilize communities to find solutions for one of the major obstacles in the pathway out of poverty — failure to read proficiently by the end of third grade.
